T I M E T R A V E L 2 4 . C O M   . . .   SO  FAR  AWAY  AND  YET  SO  CLOSE

Welcome to the early Sixties, when films like SPARTACUS, BEN HUR & THE

TIME MACHINE  :-)  were very much en vogue, Senator John F. Kennedy from Massachusetts has won recent elections and the sun is shining - just before a long winter sets in. In this time of rapid changes, F. HUBNER takes a few color photos during his business trip to Ohio and Manhattan´s Chinatown   (-:

The whole collection newly resurfaced in mostly good condition in cardboard boxes like this one, where the "slides"

were protected by typical glass plates and paper frames. A large number of them was shot spontaneously and partly through the window panes of cars or planes. Some original diapositives with Agfacolor red cast like from the RED PLANET  :-)  are very atmospheric, but the processed pics appear more realistic. Anyway, we can offer high resolution of all digital images for exhibition purposes on request, also MORE OR LESS ON JOBSITES   (-:

Other marvelous photo collections of business trips like ONE MISSION TO MANHATTAN (1965), SEVEN MONTH IN THAILAND (1966) or A COMMISSIONING IN HONG KONG (1995) have been created by U. WEINGARTNER, K. BARTKOWIAK and A. SICKING and need no further explanation - similar travel experiences are welcome to this website   (-:

Thanks a bunch to Bjoern Blanke and to Christian Schorn for their translation. Lots of thanks to the countries of  FREEDOM AND JUSTICE that liberated half of Europe & the Pacific and founded the United Nations like one big family many years ago, may God protect them   :-)

Zitat John F. Kennedy

. . . so far away and yet so close - welcome to little journeys thru time   (-:
